August and September are extremely busy times for us at Technology Core, as it is show season. No, I don’t mean it’s streaming time sitting on a couch, rather all the major industry shows take place.
This week sees Technology Core at Integrate 2023 at the International Convention Centre in Darling Harbour, and you can find all the action in this “live” blog of the show over the next 4 days.
Day 0 - Bump-in (or organising from chaos)
There has been a lot of work in the lead up to Integrate 2023, with much of the work behind the scenes getting everything organised. Many Monday.com lists were created, checked and then re-created to make sure we had every area covered. Each piece of equipment to be taken needed to be checked, configured and then fully tested so there was no risk of failures on the stand. With a show this big, staff needed to be organised with flights, accommodation and roles to cover during the show, as well as making sure there was enough left back in Melbourne to hold the fort (and for Stig to head to Brisbane for the Sports show). In total, 11 staff members are in Sydney for the show, which for Technology Core is a bigger number than ever before.
A van from Melbourne was loaded and driven to Sydney in the lead up to the week to make sure we had all the tech we were displaying and this alone took a few days. As the show is so important to us, we have to have everything we need readily on hand with a few contingencies if things go wrong. However, with another warehouse in Sydney, we are lucky in having extra equipment on hand if needed.
The Stand
There’s nothing like going bigger to be better and a big show needs a big stand and we have certainly got a big stand this year. We have a big 12mx6m floor space, that is larger than least year’s 9mx6m.
As our stand was designed by our own marketing team (big shouts to them!), we have organised for a professional stand builder to put it all together. That being a said, there is still a lot for us to do to get product on display and put it all together to get it working.
As you can see, there is a lot to explore on our stand this year, and we’ll be showing off some very new products.

Day 1 - Integrate Begins
The show is officially open!
After what has been a lot of work over the last 12 months, Integrate 2023 is back and Technology Core are so excited to be a part.
The final members of the Tech Core team have arrived and have made their way to Stand C24 at the ICC in Darling Harbour.
Jimmie wants for us to get a lot from the show, but Andy Penman, Technology Core’s Sales Director, and all round good-guy, has more informed words to give. “We are looking to engage with partners, potential new partners and users across the Australian AV industry and beyond”, he says.

Day 1 was a huge success with many rich discussions held with a lot of very different people who wanted to hear our story.
Day 2 - The Continuing Mission
With sunny blue skies, Sydney once again puts on a show to welcome us to the show!
We are back on our stand C24 ready to talk to lots of visitors to continue our mission of delivering high quality interactive solutions.

Today, your very own blogger Peter, chaired the Greening the AV Industry forum at the Tech Theatre. Five expert panelists joined me to discuss strategies and sustainable practices that the AV industry can introduce to minimise the environmental damage caused by the industry on a global scale. The discussion was full of rich content that could easily have lasted hours and each panelist brought their own specific knowledge into the talk. It was very well received and I’ll write a more specific blog entry about this next week when I’m back in Melbourne to give details on the talk.
Day 3 - The Final Countdown
Our final day at Integrate 2023 is upon us, and we will continue to talk with everyone about the amazing tech and solutions that Technology Core provides.

Integrate 2023 is now done for another year, and it was a huge success. We would like to thank everyone who attended the show and dropped in for a visit, it really made the show a fun time for us all. We look forward to it all again at Integrate 2024.
